“Without mincing words, it’s very clear that her vocal talents are astounding…Vôx comes up with wildly creative soundscapes with rather chilling and ethereal melodies that betray her Swiss roots…it leaves very little room for doubt that she’s earned the title of a true, bonafide Pop vanguardist; no gimmicks and no pretentious weirdness, just a palpable earnest love of music coupled with a truly innovative creative spirit.”

BIO

Swiss Alt-Pop artist and producer Vôx Vé combines chills-inducing vocal talent with genre-bending beats and thought-provoking perspective. Her hyper-creative debut EP “Dream Theory” drew comparisons to London Grammar, FKA Twigs, and Sia from publications such as Earmilk, LadyGunn, and Atwood Magazine, who described her work as “immediately intriguing and fresh”— “luxurious dream-pop that transcends sonic norms.”

Born and raised in Geneva, Vôx moved to the US to study philosophy at Columbia University, and you can hear it in her lyrics, which thoughtfully deconstruct ideas of happiness and success in her Insta-generation. A mental health advocate and long-time student of Positive Psychology, Vôx, her story, and her music have much to add to the cultural conversation on unlearning, fulfillment, and mental wellbeing in the modern age.

Vôx’s forthcoming first full-length LP “We Went Looking for Art” is the type to make you close your eyes and say oof, as it hits you with powerful perspective and lush sonic beauty from a place of raw post-traumatic growth. Writing from home in Switzerland throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, in the months before and after the death of a family member, Vôx finds herself suddenly seeing through the crystalline lens of loss on themes of values, regret, gratitude, and human connection. Produced by Vôx in her anthemic Alternative-Pop style and mixed with Christopher “C-Ray” Roberts in her new home of Los Angeles, the 8-track album is destined for the internet’s best playlists of Sad Bangers and Haunting Vocals, evoking a little Låpsley, a little BANKS and a lot of feels for thought.

As the album moves towards its final drop in Jan ‘23, the record has already received editorial recognition from music press like Flaunt and Wonderland Magazines and Spotify playlists such as Fresh Finds GSA and New Music Daily CH, as well as over 200,000+ combined streams, and most importantly, meaningful connection with listeners across the globe.
